Media
The Board is the source of information for the news media on matters of policy under discussion, for example, budgets, labour relations, and expansion or reductions of service. The Chair speaks on behalf of the Board.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), or designate, such as the Manager of Community Relations, may respond to requests for information about matters of established Board policy and procedure, such as special events, promotions, hours of service, or borrowing policies.
All media contacts to the staff will be cleared with the CEO. The CEO will refer all appropriate requests to the Chair or the designated delegate.
