Vicky Metcalf Award for Children's Literature

The Vicky Metcalf Award for Children’s Literature is awarded to the author of a body of work in Canadian children's literature. The winner, selected by a three-member, independent judging panel, is announced annually at the Writers’ Trust Awards event. Originally three awards, they were created in 1963 by the Toronto librarian whose name they bear.

Visit The Writers' Trust of Canada's web site to find out more about the winning authors.
