A valid Greater Victoria Public Library card and password are required to access library account information, holds and renewals as well as to access electronic resources , such as EBSCOhost MasterFILE Premier.

We recommend teachers keep class assignments broad enough for students to work on a range of topics.

Books, DVDs, magazine and newspaper articles, print and electronic encyclopedias, and reliable websites, are all excellent sources of information.

Help keep library books intact by requiring original artwork or photocopies for your assignments.

Parental consent forms for student library cards are available at every branch and online. Library cards can be distributed on the day of your class visit. At least seven days' time to prepare your students' new cards is required.
