Saanich Centennial Branch, 3110 Tillicum Rd, Victoria BC  V9A 6T2
Located in the Pearkes Arena Complex

We take to heart the idea that libraries are the community living room.

Natural light cascades down from skylights that run the entire length of this award-winning, LEED branch.

We have a gas fireplace near our magazine area with comfy chairs to sink into when reading the newspaper or watching a movie from our digital collections.

The areas for children, tweens and teens are popular for homework, relaxing and learning through play, and our computer lab is a favourite spot for patrons who use the branch as an office.

Throughout the branch, artistic displays of books and information will catch your eye, especially our famous tree display at the entrance. Our patrons love to discover what will be featured on the tree, made of scrunched up brown construction paper surrounding a pillar.

The branch is in the same building as Pearkes Recreation Centre, and Saanich Archives is located inside the branch. Sharing a space has resulted in a unique partnership; we offer specialized local history programs and services for our patrons.

Before shopping at Tillicum Centre, heading to the movies at SilverCity, or working out at the Pearkes Recreation Centre, follow your curiosity to the Saanich Centennial Branch, opened in honour of the City of Saanich’s 100th anniversary in 2007.
