Chinese-Canadians: Profiles from a community
"Chinese-Canadians: Profiles from a Community" is a new wiki-based
Chinese-Canadian heritage resource developed by Vancouver Public Library and Library & Archives Canada, which reflects the long history of the Chinese
community in Canada. It creates a portrait of this community through
collecting and sharing stories of individuals of Chinese origin who were born
in Canada in the 19th century.
"The Chinese Experience in British Columbia: 1850-1950" is a website developed by the University of British Columbia. It links you to the digitized holdings of the Chung Collection at the UBC Library, and the Yip family fonds at City of Vancouver Archives. You can read stories and view photographs of the earliest generations of Chinese-Canadians in BC.
