Parents & Educators Collection

This select collection supports teachers, librarians and parents in the teaching of literacy, numeracy, physical and social skills to children.  Hands-on programming guides for those working with groups of children are found here, as are materials useful for home-schooling.  Look for the Children’s Parents and Educators sections within the children’s area at all branches except Goudy.  Need information on child development, children’s health and well-being, sleeping through the night, nutrition, toilet training or parenting techniques?  Books and DVDs  on parenting and education topics are located in the regular adult non-fiction collection.
