Learn a Language with GVPL’s Audiobook Players!

GVPL offers a range of language learning audiobooks on Playaway, which is a pre-loaded MP3 Player.
Each Playaway is loaded with a different language and learning levels range from beginner to advanced.

GVPL’s Playaway collection is located at the Bruce Hutchison, Juan de Fuca, Nellie McClung and Oak Bay branches and you can also place holds on Playaway items and pick up at any branch.

Current languages available are:

Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Tagolog, Thai, and Vietnamese
