Elinor Dunsmuir was an intellectually gifted member of western Canada’s wealthiest family who devoted her life to the arts, and spent a good portion of it in Europe, though reluctantly returned to live out her final days at Hatley Park (now Royal Roads University) and Comox. In this illustrated talk, Craigdarroch Castle’s Bruce Davies delves into Elinor’s extraordinary life and creative output, including her work as a composer. Presented in partnership with Craigdarroch Castle. Registration begins February 19.
