Drop-in Programs: No registration is required. Admission to drop-in programs and events is first come, first served.

Registered Programs:  Advance registration is required. Register below or call 250-940-4875 for more information. If you do not have an email address, enter [email protected] A confirmation email will be sent after successful registrations. When registering for a program in a series, only one registration per individual is necessary. If you are registering for a series after the series has begun, please select the next program date in the future and register for that one. Your registration will be applied to the rest of the series.

For ages 13-18. Learn to read Latin in this rigorous course taught by Gregory Rowe of the University of Victoria. By year’s end, you will be able to read poems by Catullus, the script on the medieval Bayeux Tapestry and the Latin translation of Harry Potter. The course, now in its ninth year, is free but a text book is required; contact [email protected] for information about purchase, second-hand, or borrowing options. The course runs for eight months; please register for the September to December term, and you will be automatically registered for the January to April term.
