Pro-D Day for Teachers: Critical Thinking by Day, Opera by Night

In support of BC’s new curriculum, Pacific Opera Victoria, Royal BC Museum and the Greater Victoria Public Library are pleased to offer a day-long pro-d opportunity for high school, middle school and elementary school teachers. Experts from each institution will provide practical tools and ideas for encouraging children and teens to think critically about what they view, read, and hear.
Morning program begins at 9:30am; lunch at 1:00pm; afternoon program begins at 2:00pm and ends at 3:30pm. Detailed information will be emailed to registrants prior to the event date.
Registration for this event includes free admission to the Royal BC Museum and one complimentary ticket to Pacific Opera Victoria’s 8:00 pm performance of Jenůfa at the Royal Theatre that evening. Additional tickets can be purchased through the Pacific Opera Victoria box office at 250-385-0222. Participants are responsible for their own meals, parking and transportation.
