Suggest a Title2018-11-29T13:21:47+00:00

We welcome suggestions for titles of current interest that meet the library’s selection criteria. Generally, titles less than two years old are more readily available and are therefore more likely to be ordered. Due to the volume of suggestions we receive, we are unable to place holds on titles or answer specific Inquiries about potential purchases.

Authors who wish to bring their work to the attention of the library should also use this form. A library barcode is not required. Please include any reviews, upload any promotional material or flyers, and include information on where your work can be purchased.

Before suggesting a title, please consider the following:

  • Check to make sure it isn’t already in the library catalogue.

  • If you’re looking for a popular title, titles by best-selling authors or the next title in a series the library already carries, there’s no need to request it. The library automatically purchases this kind of material and maintains series.

  • We are unable to order out of print titles; for older items, you may wish to borrow the title from another library through interlibrary loan.

  • Limit your suggestions to a maximum of five per week.
