A commemorative program of the highlights of H.H. The Dalai Lama's UK visit May/June 2004, including his visits to Liverpool, London and Glasgow. His Holiness, receives an honorary degree from John Moores University in Liverpool Cathedral, and meets the Mayor of Liverpool. His Holiness also meets members of the public in a spontaneous walkabout. Excerpts are included from His Holiness' meetings with Foreign Secretary Jack Straw, Leader of the Opposition Michael Howard, and the meeting with the All Party Parliamentary Group for Tibet. His Holiness gives the Temenos-Singhvi annual lecture and meetsInternational journalists at the Foreign Press Association. In Glasgow, His Holiness gave a public talk to over 10,000 people at the SECC, followed by three days of teachings. The program captures the spirit and essence of this first part of His Holiness' visit to the UK.
