BORROWING, RENEWING & LIMITS
The library’s collection belongs to everyone. We hope you’ll follow your curiosity and see what you can discover through books, magazines, newspapers, films, CDs and more.
We thank you for returning borrowed materials promptly, so others can enjoy them. Most materials can be returned to any branch, and book chutes are available for after-hours returns.
Further down this page, you can view the complete list of items available for loan and their borrowing periods, restrictions and late fees.
Please keep in mind that you are responsible for returning material checked out on your card and your child’s card.
A few friendly reminders:
You are responsible for any charges on items that are overdue, lost or damaged.
If an item is overdue for more than 45 days, you’ll be billed the full replacement cost.
Additional charges will apply for lost or missing materials.
The library does not accept donations of materials in lieu of fines or replacement costs
Fines can be paid in person at any branch or online by logging in to My Account and clicking the Fines tab.
Please note: Unpaid charges of $25.00 or more may result in referral to a collection agency.
Please note: If you see the message “privilege expired” when logged in to your account, your library card needs to be renewed in person. Visit any branch and show personal identification with your legal name and current address to renew your card.
Log in to your library account using the catalogue version of your choice (desktop or mobile).
