Francophones and francophiles will find something to enjoy in our French materials, which we’ve chosen with care to appeal to those fluent in French, those learning French, as well as children and teens in French immersion programs.

We have French print books, ebooks and films for children, teens and adults, as well as music CDs for children. The collection grows and expands regularly; we aim to provide new resources and learning opportunities to strengthen your ties with French heritage and culture.

World Languages

Our World Languages collection includes books, ebooks, magazines, music CDs and DVDs in 11 languages. These materials are housed at eight of our branches. You can also search the catalogue for items in the language of your choice and place a hold to pick them up at your preferred branch.

World Language DVDs are placed with English and French DVDs and can be found in the DVD section at all branches.

We also carry children’s bilingual books, with text in English and a second language. These books can be found in the Bilingual section at our branches.
